Upload a video and the speech is written out for you with timings, so you can read it, search it, or reuse it somewhere else.
Every line is editable. Fix a name or a word the tool misheard, and your wording follows through to the subtitle files and to the captions on the video.

Common questions
What can I upload?
MP4, MOV and WebM video, up to 1 GB and up to 15 minutes long. Audio files work too, on the audio to text page.
What do I get back?
Plain text as TXT, and subtitle files as SRT or VTT. If you want the words on the video itself, the same upload can be captioned.
Can I correct the transcript?
Yes. Every line is editable. Corrections are saved and every download after that uses your wording, including the captions burned into the video.
Can it translate the text?
The transcript keeps the language that was spoken. This site does not translate. Translate Dub does that.
