Quick guide
Write up a recording without typing it
Interviews, podcasts, voice notes and meeting recordings go in as audio and come back as timed text.
Read it through, fix anything that came out wrong, and take it away as a document or as subtitle files you can lay over a video later.
- No video needed.
- Timed lines you can jump around in.
- TXT, SRT and VTT downloads.
Common questions
Which audio files work?
MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC, up to 1 GB and up to 15 minutes long.
What do I get back?
A transcript with timings, and TXT, SRT or VTT downloads. There is no video to caption, so no video comes back.
Can I correct what it heard?
Yes. Fix any line and your wording is used in every download after that. The recording is not listened to again.
Does recording quality matter?
Clear speech transcribes best. Music and heavy background noise make words harder to catch.
