Quick guide

Show notes without the typing

An episode you have already recorded is an article, a newsletter and a dozen clips, if only somebody wrote it down. This writes it down.

Fix the names and the jargon once, and every file you download afterwards has your wording rather than the first guess.

  • No video needed.
  • Timed lines you can jump around in.
  • TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT.

Common questions

Can I upload my episode audio?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC, up to 1 GB and up to 15 minutes. Longer episodes need splitting first.

What do I get back?

A transcript with timings. Take it as plain text for show notes, as a Word file to edit, or as SRT and VTT to caption a clip.

Can I fix names it gets wrong?

Yes. Names and jargon are what transcription gets wrong most, so every line is editable and your wording is used in every download after that.

Does it make a video?

No. Audio comes back as text. There are no pictures to caption.
